Is this for me?
The classic Chinook camper is an easy to drive compact machine, that is no bigger than your average mini-van. The cab forward, rear-wheel drive design creates a unique and comfortable driving experience. These vehicles certainly aren't rocket ships, cruising at 65mph on flat land and 45mph over passes, however they give you the opportunity to embrace life at slower pace and enjoy the view. Yellowstone's max speed is 45 so you won't even notice. We offer both automatic and manual transmissions. If you do not currently own a manual transmission or drive one regularly, we will place you in an automatic transmission vehicle.
Why a Vintage Chinook and not another RV?
If you found your way here you are probably intrigued by these unique campers. These are highly sought after, and for good reason. They camp like nothing else and still fit in a regular parking space. Easy to drive and maneuver, you will have no issues driving through Glacier or any other restricted roads. Sure, a large RV may have a toilet and a shower, but we promise you'll have more fun driving and camping in a Toyota Classic, not to mention all the jealous looks you'll get while driving around in a one-of-a-kind RV.
