About the Gazelle

This amazing fuel efficient vehicle is super rare. Only 6,000 Datsun Chinooks were made so this one is special. It's the first year Datsun put Nissan motors in their vehicles. It cruises smoothly and is an amazing adventure RV that will take you anywhere. Sleeps 2 with an overhead area for a small child. The pop-top makes it extra roomy and easy to stand in. There is a good amount of storage space available for your outdoor gear.
Super fuel efficient and economical at 25+ MPG. Take it for a week getaway explore Yellowstone or tour around Montana, Wyoming or Idaho. Drive anywhere and sleep.

​Equipped with a heater perfect for cool nights, the heater warms the RV quickly and it is well insulated so it will stay warm overnight. The refrigerator and propane set up make cooking and preparing meals easy.
 
We found this gem in excellent condition in Cameron, Montana where it had been stored indoor for years with a dented fender from hitting a deer in Yellowstone in the 80's.  We rebuilt all the driving components to make it comfortable and reliable including: rebuilt head with guides and seals, new oil pump and water pump, re-built carb and camper body mounts and much more. We have found a replacement fender and hood, but it needs to be paint matched in the future. For now it's super clean, reliable and in nearly original condition. This is our favorite ride to take out of our collection of RVs.
